Small tea table or candlestand with cyma-curved tripod base, scrolled feet, plain vase-shaped columnar base and working bird-cage mechanism. Top consists of pierced brass gallery rim, framing a verre eglomise decorated glass top. Under the glass is a painted oil on canvas depicting allegorical subjects, possibly Apollo. |
