Description |
Inlaid swell front low chest of drawers with French bracket feet and a serpentine apron fitted with four graduated, cockbeaded drawers. (Cockbeading appears to be of a lighter wood.) Oblong top with bowed front, light string inlay along top and bottom edges. Original embossed oval brasses and escutcheons. An inlaid band of contrasting woods extends the full length of the veneered front and at the sides below drawer level. No dust boards. |
